Originally from Oahu, Hawaii, I moved to California in 2005 to attend college at Santa Clara University where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Based on the research I contributed, I was nominated into Sigma Xi, the National Honor Society for Psychological Research and graduated in 2009.
I then started my graduate studies in Counseling Psychology again at Santa Clara University where I gained a broad range in experience and training, but was already beginning to in specialize in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I saw my first clients in 2011, and graduated in 2012.
I went on to accrue post graduate hours at Almaden Valley Counseling Service where I worked with teens, adults, couples and families. In 2014 I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
I am now in private practice in San Jose where I work with teens, adults, and couples based in a person centered CBT model. I have advance training in a broad spectrum of anxiety disorders, relationship issues, and life transitions.
